What Phase 1 Is About

CaribSecure Business Suite is being developed as a family of secure, affordable, and locally relevant software solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in Jamaica and the wider English-speaking Caribbean.

Phase 1 is deliberately focused on two priority products: pharmacy management software and law office management software. These sectors were selected because both handle sensitive information and require reliable, well-organised, and secure digital systems.

        Development is already underway. The purpose of this campaign is not to start from zero.
        The funding is being sought to help move the prototypes closer to completion and support the completion of
        early working prototypes for demonstration, review, testing, and further refinement.

Funding Target and Use of Funds

The Phase 1 target has been set at USD2,000. This amount provides a more practical working target for the immediate resources needed to continue development, improve testing, and strengthen the security review process.

Development PC Support the purchase or completion of one dedicated development computer for software development, testing, and database work.

Security Audit Support initial software security auditing to help identify vulnerabilities, weak configurations, and insecure coding practices.

Testing Support Support testing, demo preparation, sample data, backup setup, and development-environment improvements.

Campaign Costs Provide margin for platform fees, payment-processing costs, and other small campaign-related expenses.

Expected 90-Day Campaign Focus

Days 1–30 Build early support, introduce the project, share the demo site, and explain the Phase 1 focus.

Days 31–60 Share development updates, improve product pages, continue outreach, and gather feedback from potential users.

Days 61–90 Final campaign push, demonstrate progress, close the funding gap, and prepare for the next development stage.
